We transform people’s attitudes toward mental health and assist them in overcoming life’s obstacles by providing accessible counselling and healing services to individuals of all ages. We offer our services to Port Hardy and surrounding North Island Communities. 

Traditional Healing utilizes life force energy to help bring balance and clarity to the mind, body, and spirit. 

Our office is located alongside 8600 Granville St. in Port Hardy, BC, North Vancouver Island. Right along the waters edge beside Carrot Park.  

We offer accessible, comprehensive services at no cost. Our services are offered to all Port Hardy residents, and surrounding North Island Communities.

We hold confidentiality to the highest regard within our practice. Everything that is said before, during, and after session will not be communicated to anyone without your written consent. We will not disclose your affiliation with our practice in any way without your written consent. There are four limits to confidentiality where we are bound to disclose information:

  • When there is an imminent risk of you physically harming yourself or others
  • When there is a suspicion or disclosure of neglect/abuse involving a vulnerable person or child
  • When a client’s records are subpoenaed by court order
  • When there is a medical emergency in office, we will contact emergency services on your behalf should you be unable to respond.

At K’awat’si Counselling we provide a range of comprehensive services to all residents, regardless of age, sexual orientation, culture, religion, or ethnicity. We provide counselling options for adults, youth, children, couples, and families. As well, we also offer addictions counselling and supports. We work with anyone who is needing our services in Port Hardy or the North Island area.
